Dolphin watching in Kisite-Mpunguti MPA


The Kisite Boat Operators Association was established in 2012 and is formed by 79 members, including boat owners, crews, captains and sellers. The Association can arrange dhow tours, snorkeling, dolphin safaris, bird watching, scuba diving, accommodation and mangrove trips as well as visits to Wasini Island and Shimoni Slave Caves. 


You can find them at the Shimoni jetty or just by the Kenya Wildlife Service Headquarters in the same town. If you would like to make a special booking, please contact them through the telephone numbers.

Dolphin watching in Malindi/Watamu Marine National Reserve


The Watamu Association of Boat Operators (WABO) was formed in 1993. Currently the community group has 60 members who among them own 15 boats. WABO takes visitors on boat excursions generating income for the local community through eco-tourism activities.


You are welcome to visit WABO’s office which is just by the Kenya Wildlife Service Marine Park Office on the Blue Bay Beach from 8 am to 5 pm everyday. If you would like to make a special booking, please contact them through the following address and telephone numbers.
